Provision of death penalty for sexual offenses related to children

The Union Cabinet has recently approved amendment in the Pauxo Act for the death penalty on the sexual harassment of children. Cabinet has approved amendment in the Prevention of Child Sexual Crime Protection Act 2012 (POCO). Under the amendment in the law, there is a possibility of reduction in sexual offenses related to children with stringent penal provisions. This amendment will protect the interests of children stranded in distress and their security and respect will be ensured. The main objective of the amendment is to make more punitive arrangements in case of crimes related to children.

The Poxo Act, 2012 was brought to protect children from sexual offenses, sexual abuse and pornography. Its main purpose is to protect the interests of children and ensure their welfare. Under the Act, the child is defined as a person under 18 years of age. Giving priority to the interests of children, their physical, mental and social development has been ensured. This law is based on gender equality.

Uncontrolled Deposit Scheme Restriction Bill, Approval of 2019

The Union Cabinet has recently approved the Uncontrolled Deposit Scheme Restriction Bill, 2019. This bill will replace Uncontrolled Deposit Scheme Restriction Ordinance, 2019. Uncontrolled Deposit Scheme Restriction Bill will replace the Ordinance applicable on February 21. This bill will help in dealing with the outflow of money being deposited illegally in the country.

Presently, illegal deposit schemes are being exploited by taking advantage of regulatory differences and due to the hardening of administrative measures, poor savings of poor people are being cheated. The Lok Sabha considered the uncontrolled deposit scheme prohibition bill, 2018 in its meeting on February 13, 2019. It was passed after the deliberations through the proposed government amendments, as uncontrolled demarcation bill, 2019.

Approved Transgender Person (Protection of Rights) Bill 2019

The Cabinet has approved the proposal to submit the Transgender (Protection of Rights) Bill 2019. This bill will be presented in the coming session of the Parliament. This bill provides a working system for the socio-economic and educational empowerment of these individuals. Having passed this bill, many transgenders will benefit from decreasing discrimination and misbehavior and bringing them into mainstream society. This will promote holiness.

The transgender community is one of the most standing communities in the country. This community does not fit into the categories of men and women's genders. The transgender community has to face many problems ranging from social exclusion to discrimination, lack of education facilities, unemployment, lack of medical facilities. Having this bill will empower the transgender community to be socially, financially and educationally.

Akshay Kumar was included in Top 100 celebrities of Forbes

American magazine Forbes has released a list of the top 100 most earning people this year, giving details of the earnings of big celebrities around the world. This list includes actor Akshay Kumar's name. In the Forbes list, Akshay Kumar is at number 33. This list is based on the earnings of celebrities from June 2018 to June 2019. According to the magazine, Akshay Kumar's gross earnings were about $ 422 million ($ 65 million).

American Singer Taylor Swift is at the top of the most paid celebrity list of 2019. He earned $ 185 million (Rs 1263 crore) in the last one year. Akshay Kumar is the only Bollywood star to be on the Forbes Top 100 list this time. Akshay Kumar was ranked 76th on the Forbes list with a revenue of 270 crores last year.

Indian team that went out of 2019 Cricket World Cup

The Indian team got out of the ICC World Cup-2015 Indian team lost to New Zealand by 18 runs in the semifinal match With this, New Zealand reached the finals for the second time in a row. The New Zealand team also played the final in the 2015 World Cup. New Zealand face the finals of Australia and England between the winner of the second semi-final match to be played on 11 July 2019.

In the semi-finals, India have been out for a second time in the World Cup. Australia defeated India in the semifinals in 2015. This semifinal match was to be played on July 09 but due to rain, the match was completed in reserve day so the match was not completed. When the match stopped on the 9th of July, New Zealand's score was 211 runs in 46.1 overs at the loss of five wickets. On 10 July, New Zealand completed their innings and scored 239 for eight wickets in 50 overs. The Indian team could score 221 runs in 49.3 overs, losing all wickets.
