Haryana: Great Urdu poet Mahendra Pratap Chand dies, Chief Minister Manohar Lal mourns

Mahendra Pratap, the good poet of Urdu, ‘Chand’ mentioned goodbye to the world. He was in poor health for a number of days. The state authorities has expressed deep sorrow over his dying. He was a resident of Ambala metropolis. He was honored with the ‘Fakhr-e-Haryana’ honor by the Academy of Haryana and Haryana Urdu Academy two years in the past.


Academy President and Chief Minister Manohar Lal, Executive Vice President of the Academy Rajesh Khullar and Director Dr. Chandra Trikha paid tribute to him. A condolence assembly was additionally organized on the event, through which all officers and staff and Adeeb attended.
