Kalidas forgot Mallika’s love due to busyness in the government

‘Ashadhatil Ek Day’ was staged on Sunday beneath the MP Marathi Natya Mahotsav organized on 81st Foundation Day of Artist Combine. Vishwanath Rajpathak has translated Mohan Rakesh’s periodical Hindi drama into Marathi. This is a fictional story, preferred by the viewers. The director of the play is Dr. Sanjay Laghate. This play tells how a person forgets his village and girlfriend after getting pleasure and when he realizes his mistake, it’s too late.

Stylus modified over time
His inspiration in the play based mostly on the lifetime of poet Kalidas is his girlfriend Mallika, who writes stunning works on magnificence and nature, which brings the fame of her work to the king of Ujjayini. The king invitations Kalidas, however he refuses. But at Mallika’s behest, he leaves. Over time, Rama goes there and forgets her village and Mallika. He is married to Princess Priyangumanjari and so they get busy with the reigns there. He has to marry a younger man named Vilom from the village itself. He has a son. After a while when Kalidas passes the village and sees the lifetime of Villom and Mallika’s householder, they return after the dialog sadly. He additionally realizes that what was beforehand in his writing, is not any extra.
