In Moise Indian Institute of Tropical Meteorology invites applications for junior / senior research fellow program (MRFP) to be coordinated by developing Skilled Manpower in Earth System Science (DESK-ESSC).
MRFP is a dedicated JRF / SRF program in the ministry where eligible scholars will be selected through nationwide selection processes and subsequent interviews. The selection will be from the advertised posts as below. Selected scholars will initially undergo induction training in IITM (four month period) and will be sent to relevant MOE organizations as per the advertisement.
Selected candidates must complete Ph.D. According to the norms of the relevant MoES organization in the respective field, by registering in a university, where the fellow will be engaged in research. The MRFP Fellow will be provided with two year JRF and two year SRF Fellowship in accordance with DST guidelines and will have to go through the prescribed assessment procedures.
